Kyleisms

As I stated in an earlier post (The Up Side of Autism), there are some positive things about Kyle having autism.  Another nice aspect of his autism is his terrible lying skills.  He has tried to lie and trick me lately but he is just awful and I can always tell. 

Here are some snippets of his latest tries:

Washing Hands
Kyle: I did wash my hands. (Hiding his hands behind his back)
Me: Let me smell them.
Kyle: I forgot that I didn't wash my hands. 

Juice
Kyle: Mommy, can I have some apple juice warmed up?
Me: Sure but I think this is just your sneaky way of trying to get more juice.
Kyle: You're right.  This is my sneaky way.

Prayer
Me: Kyle, did you say your prayers?
Kyle: Yes.
Me: Kyle, did you really say your prayers?
Kyle: Oops. I forgot.
