Organizations I Recommend

Over the years, we have developed close relationships with some people and organizations who helped our son.

CHIME Institute Kyle attended the Infant-Toddler program and moved to the preschool program located on the CSUN campus.

CSUN Child and Family Studies Center Kyle attended this fantastic school for two years. Our daughter attended for one year. This is a great inclusion program.

Pasadena Child Development Associates Kyle had feeding therapy and occupational therapy.

Lehroff and Associates This was Kyle's first speech therapist.

K.I.D.S. (Kolchins/Thomas Infant Development Services) A wonderful therapist, Cindy, came to our home twice a week to teach me Floortime techniques.

California Institute Behavioral Analysis Kyle started receiving behavior therapy this year mainly to address social problems at school.

Help for Special Kids Our advocates...necessary for an IEP meeting.

Kyle's Doctor She had the courage to tell us why Kyle was not speaking or eating.

Kyle's Dentist She met with Kyle once a month until he felt comfortable sitting in the big chair. We have since moved and started with a new dentist. At his last appointment, he actually asked me to stay in the waiting room. His confidence now is due to the care from his first dentist.

The Friendship Baptist Church Kyle sings in the choir and recently sang a solo. I am not sure who was more excited, his choir director or me. Ms. Pat is a wonderful woman who has led the choir for 21 years.
